CG Chemikalien GmbH & Co. KG is founded.
1968
The solids, acids and bases storage is built on the company site in Laatzen near Hanover.
1971
We purchase Chemische Fabrik Dr. Reininghaus, Essen.
1976
The face of our company site changes with the construction of a two-story administration building.
1981
We acquire more Reher & Ramsden shares and the company management.
1988
The in-house analytics lab is installed and the demountable tank hall for acids and bases is built.
1989
We invest in the SIL Lackfabrik (coating factory).
1993
Uwe Klass and Jörg Seidel join our company's management, Heinz Klass retires.
1996
Our new acids and bases tank storage facility (48x30m3) is put into service.
2001
The acquisition of Wendt-Chemie Vertriebs-GmbH & Co. KG (Hamburg) is completed.
2003
The new service building with laboratory, offices, staff rooms and an underground garage is opened.

We purchase the HECO Trading GmbH & Co. KG (Hamburg).
2004
CG acquires shares of Wilhelm Jäkle GmbH & Co. KG.
2005
We purchase the Richard Sichler GmbH & Co. KG (Braunschweig).
2006
Our new storage facility for solvents (tank volume 1,600 m³) is put into operation.

We become majority shareholder of Thommen-Furler AG in Switzerland.

CG takes over Vahldiek Prozess-Service.

We take over ChemDis GmbH.

Our team celebrates the 50th anniversary of CG Chemikalien at the GOP Variety Theater in Hanover.
